The Rockefeller Center’s Urban Secret
New York is a vast and strong city that's full of energy and life. But withing this city that is overcrowded with buildings and art there are some hidden treasures. Those treasures remain hidden and in some rare occasions they are open for the public to see. For example we have the Rockefeller Center's hidden rooftop garden. As we may all know the Rockefeller Center is a huge commercial building spanning the area between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue. When the center was first erected, developers John R. Todd and Raymond Hood wanted to have something pleasant for the passerby's and workers to see when walking around the building and they felt as if a garden would be the best option.
Just looking at the beautiful pictures from below you can see that they took their sweet time building that garden. This is not just a , lets throw some soil and seeds and wait for it to grow type of garden. This gardens was created by landscape architect Ralph Hancock, the gardens' elaborates fountains, stone planters and fauna not commonly found in a rooftop garden. But then again this is the Rockefeller Center. Hopefully when your traveling to N.Y. you will be able to visit this gardens yourself and marvel at their beauties!

Bucket List: Watch Love Never Dies & Go to Boradway
since I was a kid my mom had exposed me to classical music. This led me to obsess and dream of going to Broadway. And now as I grow up, I have come to discover the great Broadway show of Phantom of the Opera. I love everything that has to do with the Phantom. I love the music, the book, the movie you name it. Its a kindle inside me that sets alight this passion for music and art that I cant seem to tame. And now, I see they have made a sequel to my dear Phantom of the Opera and it has impressed me and left me in a state of amazement.
Therefore a must for my bucket list, is to watch Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies. I wish I could see the Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo version. But sadly they have been replaced. And Love Never Dies is currently showing in Australia! So in the meantime, I guess Ill have to wait for my chance to rent the DVD of the live performance and satisfy my thirst with it till I manage to see it in real life!! Andrew Lloyd Webber you are truly an amazing and unique artist, and I hope you manage to bring to life as many musicals as you can.

DIY Photo Time-Capsule
I recently read this great article on Photojojo, about using a disposable camera as a time capsule. I have never had the chance to do a time capsule project but seeing how simple and fun this project seems I might as well give it a try! Apparently when you take pictures with your disposable camera and leave it for a couple of years. Once you develop the film your pictures will have this lomographish and retroish effect on them. Isn't that interesting!? Here are the steps to do this easy DIY Project!
STEP 1: Buy a cheap disposable camera.
STEP 2: Take your disposable camera everywhere you go for a week, or on a vacation. Take pictures of all your friends. Fill it up with photos.
STEP 3: Write your name, address, phone, email, today’s date, and the words “Photo Time Capsule! Develop me in a few years” on the camera. Sock it in a drawer.
STEP 4: Let time pass. Move in and out of relationships, jobs, apartments. Find happiness and live life fully.
STEP 5: Rediscover camera in some dusty box, bookshelf, or corner. Develop it.
STEP 6: Admire the odd stains and scratches on the photos you get back. Marvel at what your sepia-toned life was once like. Sigh, smile.
