Men of Steel

Well my fellow readers the wait is over! Now that the Dark Knight has gotten the epic ending it deserves,  its time we had another great DC heroes come to the big screen. So I am happy to announce that the anticipated trailer for the new Superman movie has fallen on my hands. Before you judge or decide to stop reading the post because its for Superman, trust me when I tell you it is heading the right way!!

Im going to be honest the first two Superman movies are really good, but after those two they just started to go down hill. Superman Returns was enjoyable, it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either! For years Hollywood has tried to bring the great icon to the big screen with a great story but they haven't managed to do so. They always focus on his origin and on how he is weak to kryptonite.  This was not the case with this upcoming movie!

In 2010 David S. Goyer approached Christopher Nolan with an idea on how to present Superman in a modern context. Christopher Nolan impressed with the idea told the studio and eventually ended up as producer for the film. It is said the film will chronicle the entire life of Superman from the early days of Krypton to the end in which he looses his powers as the sun starts to undergo through supernova. In other words there will be more than one, we can be sure about that.
Zack Snyder was chosen as director for the first film "Men of Steel" and casting was done as soon as possible.

The cast consist of, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crow as Joe-El, and many more. Men of Steel is set to come to the big screen on June 14, 2013, but enough with the talking why not let you guys see the teaser itself. Comment below and tell me what you think! Do you think the movie has potential or will it be another failure??

"Lego Art" a documentary

When we hear the word "Lego" the first thing that comes to our mind is, well Lego!
For years Lego have been one thing everyone has managed to play with once in their life's. Just the feeling you get of building something out of those small blocks and actually playing with it was one of the best feelings I had  during my childhood. At first Lego to me were just, a way of killing time in a entertaining way. Now I see Legos have become a way of art, of  making movies, theme parks and even portraits. In the new PBS web series about Legos we can see the different and yet wonderful ways artist use them!

I really cant stop seeing the video, I mean the idea or just even the though that your old toys can become something more than just toys is so cool!!

Bucket List: Watch Love Never Dies & Go to Boradway

since I was a kid my mom had exposed me to classical music. This led me to obsess and dream of going to Broadway. And now as I grow up, I have come to discover the great Broadway show of Phantom of the Opera. I love everything that has to do with the Phantom. I love the music, the book, the movie you name it. Its a kindle inside me that sets alight this passion for music and art that  I cant seem to tame. And now, I see they have made a sequel to my dear Phantom of the Opera and it has impressed me and left me in a state of amazement.

Therefore a must for my bucket list, is to watch Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies. I wish I could see the Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo version. But sadly they have been replaced. And Love Never Dies is currently  showing in Australia! So in the meantime, I guess Ill have to wait for my chance to rent the DVD of the live performance and satisfy my thirst with it till I manage to see it in real life!! Andrew Lloyd Webber you are truly an amazing and unique artist, and I hope you manage to bring to life as many musicals as you can.

30 Days till the Hunger Games!

30 more days till the Hunger Games!!
Excitement runs through my veins every time we get closer to March 23rd. I get chills just from watching the trailers imagine when I go watch the movie! The Hunger Games is currently my favorite book. Its a book that surprised me and left me speechless once I finished reading it. It all started in last years Book Fair. My friend bought the book and the sequel Catching Fire and started to read them. He tried to explain to me what the books were about but my brain just felt like believing it was a book of kids dying of hunger. That was my thought at first. Then he finished it and my other best friend finished it and they both told me I had to read them so they gave them to me.

For three month I had those books getting dusty in a bookshelf. One day my little brother had a soccer game and I decided, why not give the book a chance.(SPOILERS) I opened the book in the scene where they are interviewing Peeta and they had asked him if he had a girl back at the District. And he answered he fancies one girl but the sad thing was that she had come to participate in the Hunger Games with him.

That was the kindle of my love for Hunger Games. My brain just realized I was lost! Who is that girl and what exactly are the Hunger Games and I started the book. Never in my life had I finished a book in one day! The Hunger Games was the first. The next day if I may say I finished the second one! So thats another book I had finished in one day. When I returned to my school the first thing that was on my mind was, when will she finish the third one??

Now not only did I read Mockingjay when it came out, but I was dreaming of the day they would make this trilogy a movie. That day has come and im excited and scared at the same time. Because I had so many emotions when reading the books that I just hope the movie captures those emotions too. So far they are doing a great job!
Now please do enjoy the latest trailer for the Hunger Games!!

Bucket List: Watch Florence + The Machine in Concert!

I must see Florence + The Machine in concert before I die!! I just must!! You know when you know an artist and not everybody cares or truly loves that artist. Well this is my artist. Her voice is full of emotion, life and everything an artist needs to make them seem grandeur. Just imagine a bit of Celine Dion mixed with Adele and other renown artists. Thats how good Florence + The Machine are. Or at least thats how good I see them. People might disagree with me, but I will be their fan till the end. And I dream of the day in which I will be able to sing along to her songs live in concert!

She currently has two albums, Lungs & Ceremonial. Both of them well known and loved through UK and USA. She has a liking for vintage collection and clothing. Shes my inspiration and my idol. Forever live Florence and her music. Below I will future a video of my favorite song from her new albums Ceremonials. If you are curious to know whats my favorite song from the other album that would be Cosmic Love! Enjoy!

A Day with Zombie[boy]

Rick Genest commonly known as Zombie Boy, started tattooing his body at the age of 19. He wanted to display his body as an art project and his pale skin would play the perfect role of the white canvas.

Genest created the icon of the Zombie Boy and the tattoos on his body created his career of a circus act and also a high paid fashion model. He was in sideshows for a while and then was discovered by Nicola Formichetti via a Facebook page and both instantly clicked. And it wasn't long till he started to do runway modeling for him. The rest just came together like a puzzle. He has been seen in Lady Gaga's music video "Born this Way" and also has been featured in many magazines.

In a recent interview they asked him what do the tattoos represent, and in return he answered them,
"my tattoos are about the human body as a decomposed corps, the art of a rotting cadaver. It's also a tribute to horror movies witch I love!"

Quite fascinating don't you think?? I believe  the guy has reached his goal in representing his body as a piece of art and his doing a great job. Here is a small video Directed, Filmed and Edited by Micheal Hurley for Inked Magazine.
Enjoy!
