La Feria!

Ah the fair!! it is the closest thing Puerto Rico will ever have to an amusement park. Sadly it comes once a year, at the beginning of Christmas till the end of June. The fun thing about this fair is that I really don't remember much about it! I remember my last visit was like two years ago, and I had a great time. Couldn't get on everything but I had a great time. This year I got on everything to the point that they shut down the amusement park in order for us to realize they were closing down. In other words they kicked us out.

What I love about the fair is the fact that its functions as a portal to the old world. To the time where people listened to Elvis Presley and admired Marilyn Monroe . A time where teens where starting to be independent. A period of TV and radio rising to fame. A period known as the golden age of America, the fifties!!

One thing that shocked me about this fair was that they had bump cars and the old ones!! You don't see those anymore to the point that I saw elderly people making the line to ride with their grand kids. Why wouldn't they?? That was one of their rides in their times. So an overall of everything, it was a really great experience. I made friends with an Emu (Bird like animal that has huge similarity to an ostrich) and played with my fellow VB Production team!! Merry Christmas to you all and thanks for everything Nana, Sami, Bianca & Scott love you guys!!

Museo de Vida Silvestre

The Museum of Wild Life (Museo de Vida Silvestre) is a must see if you come to P.R. I finally had the chance to go today and visit the museum that had my friends talking for weeks. This morning my little brother's godmother came over to visit, and since it was the first day of vacation for my brothers we wanted to do something cool and different. So I invited them to come with me to the museum, at first I had to convince them to go, but after I blackmailed them everything went OK!

This museum had wild life written all over it! Literally it had, as soon as you get there you see this huge elephant statue right in front of the entrance to the museum and to an elephant lover like me I just fell in love with the place at first glance. I even named the elephant, Milo!!!

The experience was unique and great, but I do suggest you take a jacket cause its cold inside! The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 6pm. They have 12 different exhibitions focusing on the different biomes the world has. Among them they have the Savannah, Grasslands, Desert, Rainforest and more. In each and one of this biomes they have animals that are commonly found in that area. Dont worry the animals arent real, they are sculptures made of foam that are given the srtucture of the animal. Then they attach the fur of the animal and voula you have a almost real life looking sculpture of the animal.

The museum is not that big, but it offers the best service and tours ever. They also have an amphitheater that they use to display movies like Chimpanzee, African Cats or local documentaries of P.R. faunas.

So therefore I encourage you all, those who live in Puerto Rico and those who come to visit, to go to this museum. Families will have a great time together, friends can joke around and adults can chill. To read more about it and get full information on museum price and everything heres the link to their website!

I am most definately going back, for it is a place that is still integrating new exhibitions and stuff for the audience. Well this was me giving my sort of review on the museum, and yeah have a great day!!!

St. Patrick's Day

What better way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day like PR??
Here in PR everyone heads out to the beach and spend the day catching waves or sun bathing wasting time so that in the night the real party can start. Picture it, a starry night under a small gazebo with Walmart's last minute St. Patrick's Day deco. and everyone wearing something green! Its actually a nice experience. And the drinks are quite cheap, so drinks all around. I am currently recovering from small injuries and body exhaustion  , so therefore Ill leave you guys with cute pictures of the day and for what happened at the party... lets just say I didn't have the chance to take pictures. Hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day!!

Oh Happy Day!!

Today was amazing! It was the first time my best friend, Yomarie, managed to hang out with me and another close friend. You see we have been planning for her to hang out with us.But most of the time she cant go due to her parents or because we just didnt plan correctly. Gladly that wasn't a problem today!!

We managed to eat pizza and go to Maggie Moo's. After that we just ate our ice-cream in the car and joked around the whole night. Nana (another great friend of mine that forms my love triangle) got crazy with the camera and started taking photos at everything. That was my happy day. A simple day that will be remembered forever. It will be another scar of happiness in my blog. For it is the simple things that we remember the most.

Studying at Starbucks...

Today was the first time I got to go out with my fellow friends from the new school! I have to say I actually had a great time. I mean we were meant to be studying and we sort of did. But most of the time we were just joking around and wasting money at Starbucks. We bought two big cinnamon rolls, one coffee cake, two mocha frappuccino and one Java Chip frappuccino(mine!). BTW for those of you who haven't tried the Java Chip frapuccino, I recommend you do!

The Java Chip frappuccino is composed of coffee with rich mocha-flavored sauce blended with milk, chocolaty chips and ice. Topped with sweetened whipped cream and chocolate-flavored drizzle. I usually order the White Mocha but I have decided to try out every single thing at Starbucks. Therefore the Java Chip was creamy, cold, chocolaty and really good. In other words it past the test!

Hope you all had a good Thursday, ill be leaving now cause I am tired and my bed is screaming my name. So remember, go to Starbucks and try yourself a Java Chip frappuccino!

BTW If there is a drink from Starbucks you love and recomend, you can write to us on facebook here!! Or go to contacts and send us an e-mail!
