Casual Friday #OOTD

Well today was a good day! 

Once school ended I decided to go for a stroll on the beach with my brothers and enjoy the view!! I wanted to share with you guys the outfit I wore and I have to say its really simple and cheap but comfortable and it makes you look good on the beach! lol For casual Friday I used a simple polo shirt, simple jeans and simple shoes. That Heineken polo shirt is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. Dont ask me why, cause I really dont know but it is! I love the fact that its really simple and extremely comfortable and you can use it with any pair of pants shoes, etc!

Pues bien, hoy fue un buen día!

Una vez que terminaron las clases, decidí ir a dar un paseo en la playa con mis hermanos y disfrutar de la vista! Quería compartir con ustedes el vestuario que llevaba, y tengo que decir que es muy simple y barato, pero cómodo y te hace lucir bien en la playa! hahaha Para viernes casual usé una simple camisa de polo, pantalones simples y zapatos sencillos. Esa camisa polo Heineken es una de mis piezas favoritas en mi armario. No me preguntes por qué, porque yo realmente no sé, pero lo es! Me encanta el hecho de que es realmente sencillo y muy cómoda y se puede utilizar con cualquier par de zapatos pantalones, etc!

Im really not that good with posing and all that stuff, or freeze jump for that matter! I love the beach and the ocean, thats my source of energy. I've been raised on the sea and I traveled the Caribbean with our boat so a heads up to all of you ill be doing lots of #OOTD on the beach! ;)

Realmente no soy tan bueno con poses y todo eso, o salto de congelación para decirles mas! Me encanta la playa y el océano, esa es mi fuente de energía. Me he criado en el mar y he viajado todo el Caribe con nuestro barco por lo tanto un aviso a todos ustedes van a estar viendo un montón de #OOTD en la playa! ;)

Today was a pretty long day!! Woke up early, to see my beautiful dog on my bed. Spoke with a couple of my crew and talked about the upcoming anniversary of the blog. Worked on some applications for university, and wrote a morning post. At noon I got ready to go do some last minute Christmas shopping and had a great time in the stores. Went to the mall's local Starbucks and bought myself a coquito frappuccino! ;)

Walked around and marveled the Christmas decorations and then headed back home. On my way home I took a beautiful sunset picture of the road, once home started wrapping all of the gifts!! God I cant wait for Christmas Eve!!

Hoy fue un día muy largo!! Me despierto temprano para ver a mi  hermosa perra acostada en mi cama  Hable con mi equipo a ver que podíamos hacer para el aniversario del blog. Al mediodía me prepare para hacer unas compras navideñas de ultima hora. En  el mall vi un Starbucks y me compre un Coquito frappuccino! ;)

Camine un poco y vi las decoraciones y me fui para casa! De camino a casa le tome una foto al atardecer y cuando llegue empece a envolver los regalos!! Dios mio no puedo esperar hasta la víspera de navidad! 

Changing booth the New Photo Booth

Now a days finding a good photo booth can be quite a journey. Especially now, that technology is rising and most of the stuff we couldnt do, now we can with just a click of the finger. So for those who have a bit of a vintage nostalgia and want to keep following the traditions with your own modern twist, I am going to tell you guys one of my versions of a photo booth which so happens to be a changing booth!! 

When I go on a shopping rampage, I am the first willing to try new clothe. I am obsessed with jackets and its many families like sweaters, cardigans, hoodies, etc. Therefore when I choose all of the clothe (or jackets!) I want to try, I call for a worker and tell them "i wish to try the clothe on." The workers ever so kindly open the door to the changing booth not knowing what is to happen in there. I go in and boom!! The booth is my own personal photo studio, I go crazy with the camera and take as many photos as I want. There is a reason for it! Ill explain later in another post.

Once done trying out the clothe I look at the pictures and decide what im taking and what stays. Then with the many apps we have now a days for editing, I give the pictured a bit of lomo-ish, vintage feel to it. One way or another creating my own personal photo booth in a changing booth!

Congreso de Lideres

Sorry I havent been able to post about my thanksgiving adventure, its sort of a long story lol. But a story worth talking about, maybe on my next post. Today I want to talk about this convention/workshop I went to as soon as thanksgiving break was done. This convention took place on the Marriott in Condado, P.R and goes by the name "Congreso de Lideres"(Congress of Leaders.) Those two days were one of the most hardest and interesting days of my life. They truly helped me form and give shape to the way I want to tackle my future. They opened my mind to see how this world truly functions and how one way or another everything is connected. I understood that you create and mold your vision of the future, but life molds small pieces that make a huge different in the ending results. 

Every mistake is a coincidence! We must not fear mistake for it is from them that we truly learn. Thats one of the big things I learned there. Among others I learned that in this world if you want to get things done you have to do it yourself, not wait for others to think or make the decision first. If we come to see, it is you who need to make the difference not the others. Those things are just small samples of the great conversations we have with some of the most important leaders in our country like, Kurt Schindler, Edwin Rodrigues, John Richardson, etc, etc. 

All an all the experience was great and I had a vast amount of time to go exploring the hotel. The rooms were really comfortable and had great views of the ocean. The food was beyond great, and I had an opportunity to experience a fancy meeting of the San Juan Rotary club. All of this thanks to the work of two beautiful, great and interesting ladies. Hilda Brizzie and Vanessa Caban, truly did an amazing job creating and building this Convention and to them I have to give the biggest of thanks for letting me form part of that team and letting me go through all this wonderful experiences!!

Tolkien Week!!

Yes, unfortunately I am a nerd and obsessed fanatic of Lord of the Rings!! Most of my childhood revolved around Lord of the Rings. Everything I did, I thought of or even wrote of was based on Tolkien's work! He is so far my favorite author and for those of you who dont know "The Hobbit" is my favorite book! I have read it a couple of times and cherish it by heart. So as a tribute to my favorite author and my favorite book I will be having a second breakfast tomorrow and Saturday!!

Now I know! You must be wondering what I mean by second breakfast, but dont worry I will explain in the next sentence after this point. The hobbits in the book normally have a schedule dedicated to eating. We have breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner and supper!!  Yep all of that in one day!! So this post will clearly be dedicated for Tolkien Fans around the globe and to any who wishes to partake on this celebration. This Saturday, September 22nd we will be celebrating Bilbo's & Frodo's birthday. So fans and readers around the world will be doing a second breakfast in their name. And I made one myself!! I have decided on making and omelette filled with spinach and mushrooms, with toast and bacon on the side and coffee!!

But either way this is my Second Breakfast recipe you dont have to do one exactly like mine! Alter it, create your own!!
